Don't worry if you buy one, it is very good quality (my husband was so impressed) and looks brand new. I ordered this sander for my husband and worried because it was factory reconditioned.
It arrived clean as new, perfect in every way., I will definitely look to more of their refurbished tools in the future. Excellent product. This is a very efficient tool. I was surprised at the quiet operation and speed with which it makes hardwoods seem to melt away to form the shapes I wanted.
Most sanders this size are however. It is just a little on the heavy side. I like the sander. It has plenty of power.
